In the middle of the Franciacorta, the region where the modern history of italian quality sparkling wines took place. Between little hills and creeks cutting through their sides, thick woods protecting and acting as a backdrop for the rows of grapevines, which Plozza chose in 2010 to create its bottle-fermented bubbly. A wine with unique characteristics, that also owes its success to the soil.

On the strength of its century-old history in Valtellina and in Grisons, the Plozza company has grown over the years bringing its own experience and working method into different territorial contexts. Plozza Ome, in the heart of Franciacorta, is the new jewel that since 2010 has been standing alongside the valtellinese and the grisonian souls of Plozza Wine Group, respectively embodied by Plozza Vini Tirano and by Cottinelli Weinbau Malans.
Plozza Ome Franciacorta produces five sparkling wines of great character linked by a common thread: the pursuit of quality in accordance with the criteria of the classic method, a production philosophy that together with the hand harvesting of grapes, a fruit’s soft pressing and long maturation on lees works to define the business concept - quality and innovation respecting tradition. As a result, a lively Brut, a refined Satèn, an elegant Rosé and the latest creation, the precious Millesimato Dosaggio Zero.
